General Information
- The compound will vary slightly – depending on the color.
- Compound (A) Medium – great for production stock cars on plastic tracks.
- Compound (B) Firm – great for high performance cars, mainly on commercial tracks.
- Any and all tires with a “R” have a rounded sidewall on one side of the tire only.
- The rear tire size indicated in the chart above, is the final outside diameter (O.D.) after the tire is mounted on the manufacturers stock wheel.
- Tires #9, #10, #11 and #12 are specially designed for the latest Tyco cars (made by Mattell).
- The numbers 5, 14, 16, 17, 18, 20, 22, 24, 25, 26 shaded above in yellow are the standard tire sizes (O.D.) recommended for that use.
- Part # AFX 510 also fits Ideal TCR MK 1 & 2 and the Matchbox Slotless Chassis. They are slightly narrower than the stock tire, but work much better.
- The Life Like LL446 & LL450 fit the old original AFX G-Plus cars perfectly. You have to remove the old sponge tires & clean up the hub first before installing your new Super Tires.
- The colors noted in red with an asterisk * in front of them for the Tyco .418, .422, .426, .430 & .434 are the standard H.O. tires made specifically for Scale Auto in both compound A & B since Super Tires started 24 years ago.
- Compound B Super Tires noted in blue with an asterisk * in front of them are either new or have been out of stock for a while.
- Notice Compound B Super Tires are not being made any more.
